I'm not an accountant, but I play one on TV. All kidding aside, I've been working closely with accounting systems and accountants for the last 15+ years so I'd say I qualify to write an accounting system. In fact, I did write an A/P module for a prior employer years ago and I've worked on many apps over the years that have integrated tightly with accounting systems and mainframes. But I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to. I'll look at AccountMate's website and see what I think.
