Sorry, I have not done this yet. My data is in SQL Server, while my MM tables are in VFP. However, a new version of MM is due soon, and it may address your issues.

>I've searched and read every thread on this site, but they seem to only cover 3 topics: How to flip the switch from local to remote, How to make & use connection strings, and how to use remote views. (Some of those threads were good though...especially James' CreateView Program!)

>I have already made all my tables & views in SQL, and they seem just fine. What I'm having trouble with is converting the Mere Mortal specific tables and views. For instance, the first thing I noticed was that I couldn't use guids for the IID's. Turns out that there is some foundation-specific code that actually references the IID's as integers. (Whoops--looks like a small oversite in the foundation, IID's shouldn't be actually used FOR anything else)

>So then I changed the IID's to integers and made them Identity Fields. So that error is gone. However, the projects still won't start...I seem to get some type of integer-to-character conversion error (Sorry, I know it's a bad description of the problem, but it bombs pretty hard on me)

>So has anyone ever made a FULL SQL conversion, including Mere Mortal specific tables? (groups, mmcntrls, mmsctype, mmsecure, states, users, usgrlink). Did you have to do anything special? Is it possible to share what field attributes you used to make it work?

>Thanks.
