Not trying to be argumentative (honest :-)) but the following statement is not entirely correct.

This product has a lot of history and code taken from their original DOS products, most of their proprietory db engine has come from these roots. I think (and this is only a personal view) that as end-user products they are pretty good (accounts, manufacturing, web shop and portals) however the development environment is total pants and extremely poorly documented (at least in the UK).
