This may be a second message... I had some difficulties with my last session so please forgive if you already received this information.

I have indeed encounted this problem. VFP 3.0b ships with an upgraded Win32s. You knew that. The setup wizard compresses a distributable copy into the distrib.src directory. When I upgraded from VFP 3.0 to VFP 3.0b I simply installed 3.0b which left the old Win32s image in the distrib.src directory.

My fix was to blow away the entire VFP directory tree and re-install VFP 3.0b. I may be wrong, but I think I may have been able to erase only the distrib.src directory. Give it a try. You will know it worked when it the setup wizard slows down. It took forever to compress the new Win32s files.
