Actually, you
cannot use the grid directly. You must use the data. :)
How are you going to tell that that every row in the grid has the required data? You're can't - rows in the grid are not object's per se.
You have to determine if every record in the grid's source cursor has the required data.

What gets verified here? That the company has 3 VP's, or that there is a company, and for each VP record entered, there is some field that must be filled in, e.g., what division they are VP of?

Nothing is easier in VFP than going directly against the data.
Trying to validate required fields from control values, especially a grid, is a major PITA. :)
Look at the example in my last post, and let me know what specifically sounds difficult about it. I'll be happy to explain :)
