Hmm. I have an interest here because we have experienced a whole raft of issues for about the past 4 months. Unfortunately the internal app I maintain is a bit of a moving target, in that many small but rapid changes are happening all the time. The LAN itself has also undergone hardware and workstation changes, making the slowdowns and such difficult to pin down. We are under a production environment, and so testing is difficult to arrange that reflects the mix of daily user activities.
I will be watching what happens in this thread closely :) I may begin some testing in the same vein myself, and will post anything I learn.
