This will show a bunch of stuff that goes in there...
  1. Create a Connection in a database (DBC).
  2. In the Connection Designer, under Specify data source, select Connection String
  3. Click the ellipsis button next to the Connect string textbox. You will probably get prompted for a password. Keep going until you get the the Connection succeeded message.
  4. The Connect string textbox will now have a full Connection string.

It seems to show less for Oracle than SQL Server (go figure <g>)
