Hi Della,

Just a cool thing I found...

I dropped the ActiveX Webbrowser control onto a Visual Foxpro Form.
Then set the Navigate Method to a URL which was a Local File
(but also tested with a Web File) that points to the
PDF (c:\Mytest.Pdf) and the Form then hosted the Adobe Document
and allowed me do all the Adobe stuff at the same time...
(Print, Magnify, etc...)

It worked pretty cool and I'm gonna use that now
instead of the _ShellExecute... in my Apps...

So THANK YOU for asking this question and giving me
some neat stuff to do on a boring Friday and nursing
the Flu!

Hope it helps!
Bob

If you got it to work in VB (but not the way I want it to <s>), and you can't get it to work in VFP, then perhaps my best bet it to continue to use the ShellExecute method. It works great, and I think that for my app, it's a *feature* that it opens up in a separate window (though my opinion isn't shared by the project team ).
