>I know I can use the RUN command with the /N paramter to set Outlook going in the background and then leave it up to the User to close it (although I personally think the VFP app should tidy up after itself - speed is the most important thing for this client.) However - where do I find the location opf Outlook - I assume somewhere in the Registry ?
Hi, Anna.
Why don't you propose your users to have Outlook open all the time (form the Startup folder)?
Most Outlook users I know work that way, because they need to know whenever a new email comes, and had instant access to their diary and contacts.
This can be a problem with slow machines, but I normally try to explain my users that if they really want some kind of functionality they have to invest in the proper equipment (both hardware & software).
Just an idea.
