>Ouch. I know OSU had about the same pre-season record we did, but I don't know against whom. We did play two number 1's that accounted for two of our losses. Still can't figure out how we lost to Texas. They'll be OK and I think will only get better as the season goes on. Frankly, they've done better than I thought they would give the quality of the pre-season schedule and that the coach is new.

I went to a game and the thing that impressed me the most was that we kept hitting the boards. This seems to be one of the key changes this year and I hope it continues. All of this without the usual smash-and-grab of the big ten. Maybe they'll actually have a chance when they get in the tourney this year. We won't have six players in foul trouble by the end of the first quarter.

Another change has been that they seem to do better in the second half than the first. I can't count the number of times we had a big lead at half time only to have it be a close game. Now, we seem to be playing harder in the second half and strecting out leads. 'Bout time.
