Seriously, for anyone who may have misunderstood him, what John means is that he's not a speaker at the conference this year.

For anyone who has noted his absence and/or lack of posts, he privately told me some time ago that he's been extremely busy since about the beginning of December (as I recall). He also said that he expected to be back to his previous level of activity here, hopefully, by the end of this month. Of course, if this means we have to put up with the limericks...:-)
