I have created a sample program using the Microsoft DataGrid Control (6 OLEDB) and setting it to a recordset object. Likewise, I have compiled the program and created an installation using the PDW. When installed on a (somewhat) fresh machine and run, I get the "Cannot initialize data bindings" error message from the Microsoft DataGrid Control. I finally get the form up and the Grid is only showing the Grid with the first column of the recordset and the data not displayed. I have also incorporated the DataCombo and DataList which is in the same family as the DataGrid. The DataList and DataCombo work and display as designed, but the DataGrid is not! Why? And how do I fix this? I have not found much on Microsoft's site. I also did the same using Visual FoxPro with the same results.
