Allow me to explain: Yes, if the Noles had won, there would have been a split championship with Miami. But I have had to hear a buncha crap here about how the Miami win against FSU was a fluke and that Miami didn't deserve to be co-champs so ... seemed to me that if Miami won and FSU lost, then Miami would be ranked at least 2 or 3 spots higher than FSU and it would put to bed the idea that Miami was "lucky". And that's what happened: Miami = #2 and the Noles are #4 in one poll and #5 in another.

>>I DO NOT root for the 'Noles....I'm a 'Canes alum, remember? I am glad they lost so that Miami can be ranked higher than them.

>Whoa! Hold your horses, cowboy. Do you mean to tell me that, as a 'Canes alum, you were not rooting for the 'Noles? Even though their winning would've given your alma mater a share of the national championship? Huh? C'mon Gonz, fess up. I mean to some degree I can understand. But this is cutting off your nose to spite your face, isn't it?
