In my network app I want the user to click a button on a form. The button code would take a view(s) offline and copy files generated to there local hard drive to be used offline. Since a copy of the dbc, dbf, dct files have to reside in the local directory to make the remote app function it is necessary that the remote locations have a current copy of the database files. I thought this could be easily done by copying these files at the time the offline files were copied. I have found out you can't copy the dbc file while you are in the app. Is there any way to automate this function or will they have to be copied manually?
