My application, a work log, lets users paste formatted strings from tables into big edit boxes which also contain any other text they decide to enter. Later, the application will search these memos, totalling the ocurrences of the formatted strings. I know some folks are just gonna have to "beautify" those formatted strings and break my search. Any ideas for a fuzzy search or some kind of SOUNDEX approach that will ignore carriage returns and extra spaces without heavyweight parsing? Thanks much. Pottorff
