I have seen VFP used in several data warehousing situations but the solutions were always roll-your-own. Microsoft had something called the EIS Pack a few years back but I don't remember too much about it. There are a lot of theory papers out on the net on assembling a data warehouse and you might find it's not too difficult to create the right data topology and then allow user access to a tool like Crystal to query against the summary/warehouse tables.
>I am looking for an EIS system that will work with VFP databases.
>I am aware of R&R, Crystal,Foxfire etc which I would categrize as 'Report Writers'. I am looking for an EIS system which will allow data structures/warehouses to be assembled and then allow drill down etc.
>There was a product called 'Forest & Trees' around a few years ago and its something in this vain I am looking for .
