Fellow foxers,
I've searched through the msdn docs for vfp, and also have run countless searches here on UT and other services to see if there is a way to retrieve and save settings for any registry keys using vfp, and have yet to find a solution.
In VB, I can easily do this using the GetSetting function and the SaveSetting statement for virtually any registry key as long as I know it's location. It seems with vfp, you can only do this with registry settings having specifically to do with vfp apps themselves using a fox foundation class.
What I want to be able to do is change the advanced multimedia settings for Internet Explorer programatically from a vfp app. If someone knows of an easy way to do this directly from vfp, that would be great. Otherwise, I'll build a com object in vb and use that from vfp, but I'd really rather a straightforward vfp only solution if possible that doesn't require me to register an object with each machine that might run the app.

Jim Erwin
