I had built in SP1 on installation CD of NT. But I didn't experience any of installation troubles you write about. In my case it worked like a charm... The only problem is that I don't like installing it over and over after any new program I install on my computer... A while ago, there was a threag about reading NTFS partitions without NT running. You can find it in Visual Foxpro forum, but I can send to a link to the small GREAT utility that can read these partitions from DOS, Win95, or Win 3.11 and after registration also WRITE on these discs.... Bye, bye security, bye bye, privacy..... :-))) we shall see, said the blind man to the deaf man and went to see a mute movie..... :-) --
