I had built in SP1 on installation CD of NT. But I didn't experience any of installation troubles you write about. In my case it worked like a charm... The only problem is that I don't like installing it over and over after any new program I install on my computer... A while ago, there was a threag about reading NTFS partitions without NT running. You can find it in Visual Foxpro forum, but I can send to a link to the small GREAT utility that can read these partitions from DOS, Win95, or Win 3.11 and after registration also WRITE on these discs....
