I do not want to code Tables(1), I want to code Tables(lnTableNumber). I can find this nowhere in the vbawrd9.chm help file. TIA.

This may or may not help, but when I attended devcon I received the pre-beta release of VFP (7). One of the things I use it for now is to help be see the properties and methods available to me when I do automation. The intellisense will show me several things about the word object that I could not find in any chm. Then I can experiment with certain properties or methods that intellisense tells me are available. Just my two cents as I have never done anything with tables in word automation.
