I am running a test installation of IIS V 2.0 on NT4.0 (SP2) and IExplorer 3.02

I am currently trying to overcome a problem with keep alive connection timeouts.

Within the IIS Manager\WWW configuration applet, I have set the connection keep alive setting to 60 seconds (a short time I know, but only for test purposes). The PC is set up in a lab environment on a 802.3 LAN.

While monitoring with Performance Monitor (HTTP Current connections), I connect to the IIS server. I see a single connection raised, the web page is downloaded and then the connection drops.

Supposedly, Several simultaneous connections should be raised and held until the IIS server connection inactiviity timeout period expires or until the user breaks the connection (for example, closing the browser)

I don't get this problem with Netscape navigator 3.x , nor did I get the problem with IExplorer 2.0 . I have also tried
using IIS 3.0 (SP2 installed as required) and IIS 2 (with or without SP2)

Is there a key which needs to be added\modified. I've looked but I can't see one.
