I think most of my problems have been not knowing where to look for things in Quickbooks - since I do not use the program myself. Now that I am getting more familiar with it, I can see transactions are importing.

I downloaded a sample invoice with sales tax.IIF file from the QuickBooks web and modified it to work with my account names and it imported fine. Now I just need to weed out the necessary from the unnecessary, and figure out what kind of account structure we are going to support.
