Hi!

Yes, it is possible and there are some experiense with that here so you can ask questions.

To do this, you should use some ActiveX controls or workaround for API calls. If you do not know how to work with API, better use ActiveX class. The best one is the ctiTray ActiveX class from the classes set provided by DBI Technologies.

In the sections here you can also download some simple samples of tary icon, but without functionality to allow handle of mouse clicks on the icon.

ctiTray ActiveX class does allows mouse clicks, we even managed to make right click popup menu for it without opening of main VFP window.

Finally, to hide VFP window from taskbar just use '_Screen.Visible = .F.' command. You can also include 'SCREEN = OFF' in the config.fpw file, this will cause screen invisible from start and it will never appear until you use '_screen.Visible = .T.'

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
