Seriously, glad you found the answer. I actually got me think about running a series of tests to see if I can replicate the problem. It might be important to me down the road.
One last note, I've heard (but haven't used yet) a lot of good things about Erik Moore's eView. It might not suffer from this problem (don't know) and, from what I understand, is better than the one that comes with VFP. You might take a look at that. Could save you some work.
