Yes, I'd say that certainly qualifies as as "super soaker". I've been to Orlando many times and agree with you about the dramatic lightning, which may be even more impressive than a Disney laser-light show. I've been caught outdoors in a couple of downpours there, too, but never anything like 14" in two hours. Wow!
