I know how hard it is to change your mind-set from writing procedural code to using SQL statement. Just every time you need to write SCAN ... ENDSCAN think if you can do the same with SQL statement maybe with few sequential SQL statements. You will see that your programs will became shorter, clearer an easier to maintain.
