>I heard someone in the media say "The 20th Century was the American Century". I think this is true. But how did it happen?
Primarily, anarcho-capitalism. It's not PC to point to that as the cause but it's true.
And now, entering into the 2001-2100 period, we're kicking ass again with the technical revolution and the one-two punch of Intel and MS.
In regards to Canada and Mexico .... hmmm ... I think Canada has too harsh a climate and too few people. Also, the weird-ass bilingual laws and the socialistic tax system can't help. As to Mexico, too unstable in from the 1860's to the 1920's and too corrupt after that.
But don't worry: With the class warfare that the leftists here want to start, the continued voodoo victimology promulgated by minority leaders, and the propensity for Democratic lawmakers to penalize the "haves" to play to their power-base of the "have-nots" we'll soon be dragged into the same mud.
