How do you handle grids/lookups? If this is not that interesting to anyone else, you can email directly.

I will handle the lookup question first. Lookups can be handled a variety of ways. One way is to grab rows and add elements to a combobox. As you might have already guessed, this is not something that you need DataClas for. That said, dataclas does provide a way to pass a query through to SQL Server. Once you have the ADO recordset, it then becomes a UI-specific issue as to how to deal with lookups...

With respect to grids, I assume you are talking about VFP grids. Since we don't deal with VFP cursors, VFP cursors are not handled. However, OLE-DB grids do work. If you have not worked with this ActiveX control, you owe it to yourself to take an hour and play with it. It will not take you long to miss the quirks -bad ones at that - of the VFP grid.

For any additional product ?'s - please email me personally with your ?'s. I will be happy to answer any ?'s you have....

Best regards,
