>PMFJI, but what the heck do whitepapers have to do with online support? Seems a rather arbitrary criteria.

Excuse me while I put on my weightlifting belt so that I may remove the chip from your shoulder....< bg >...

With respect to your first question, I will ask you a question in response. How many times do you refer people to the MSDN site? That should answer your question. If you are of the Aggie persuasion, I will tart it up for you.

Whitepapers are very much related to online support since they are referenced with great frequency..

Also, we can probably count on one hand the number of VFP MVPs who have authored whitepapers for MSDN, are you saying that all others are not qualified?
<

Of course not - based on the current qualifications. I am of the opinion that the qualifications should be changed. The measure of ones qualfications can only be determined by how they stack up against the requirements. Right now, a whitepaper is not required. Therefore, why would you conclude that I - one who is pretty logically minded - take a proposed set of qualifications and superimpose those requirements on current standards. That would not make sense. And therefore, would not be something proposed by me....

BTW, this message was created in the land where the 2000 National Championship award resides - OKC.

Yes longhorns - you still suck!!
