There are a lot of people here that are too sensitive. I bet if you reviewed the thread, you would find that at times, you gave as good as you received. We all do - especially me.

I do believe that some people look for the cult of sentiment - to bend over backwards to be as pleasant and poltically correct as possible. FWIW, staying away is not the answer. You, me, or anybody else for that matter are not in the behavior modiciation business - eventhough at times that is exactly what I try to do....< s >..

My suggestion, lighten up. If you don't like what somebody posts, don't engage them in a discussion. Remember, it takes two to tango. When one drops out, there is no dancing...

And yes, that is advice that I should follow much more often....

>I spend a lot less time here now, following the amount of abuse I received from one MVP for pointing out a potential serious fault with a piece of code he posted. It was a routine that checked validity of filenames, the typo's I could live with, but it had the possible side-effect of deleting any existing file with the same name. I thought this was serious enough to warn the recipient about. The amount of abuse I received was intolerable - and I see the particular MVP is still about & boasting about upsetting people (Ed Rauh, if you couldn't guess).
