Maybe it can be done using Windows Scripting Host (from a VFP application, not from the DOS one). You can get an excellent introduction in a series in the VFUG newsletter (www.vfug.org) from George Tasker and Ed Rauh. It is actually easier that it sounds to get started, and in the articles you have the information needed to locate -if it exists- this functionality on MSDN.
