>>Not much chance of that (then again, I've noticed a few sycophants throughout this thread, saying that he's wonderful - maybe just trying to avoid the abuse)<<
Actually ER has done some fairly cool stuff around here... the Windows Script Host stuff is well worth digging out, I'm fairly sure he contributed to that.
So he is a bit cutting. You need to decide whether you care more about that than about the technical contribution. For me, I'd rather grit my teeth dealing with the rudest accountant in the world if I end up saving big $ every time and structuring my affairs to very berst advantage, than a kindly fool who gets me investigated every year.
There are certain others round here who behave like experts and are as rude as hell, but have never that I have seen answered a technical question about anything but their own particular snarling view. Give me ER any day.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
