I am delighted to see your post, since we saw the exact problem last year.
We cannot solve it fully. It seems that at least one user takes a full file lock on files it uses, whether they be .dbf or .exe files, cutting everybody else out. I believe there is an optimistic/pessimistic lock setting in the novell client. Is that it?
