Mike, I requested this addition. Maybe as you suggest down the road, the folks running the UT might decide to remove it (or switch to some future version). However, I think it is an invaluable category for at least a year for following reasons:

- Currently, there is a public VFP beta where folks have lots of questions about the new features. This allows for easier interaction without having to sift thru lots of messages that may be of less interest. I know there are certain categories that folks pay more attention to than others. Personally, I don't spend as much time reading thru the FoxPro 2.6 stuff as others (maybe I should <g>).

- I think we should always have a topic where people can go to ask specific questions on the latest product version. Once VFP7 ships, there will be lots of interest on these specific features since they are new.

- Finally, the category greatly benefits the VFP team here at Microsoft. With upwards of 500+ messages a day here on the UT, this category allows us to filter out VFP7 feedback and issues much more rapidly during the Beta cycle. While we do have more formal newsgroups setup for the Beta, there is a fair amount of VFP7 traffic on the UT that interests the team.
