I am wanting to add an image field to my inventory table. After reviewing some posts here on the the UT I have determined that it would be better to store the path to an image file rather than using a general field.

I was then contemplating how long I should make the field to hold the path and while I was thinking about it I began to wonder if it wouldn't be better to use a memo field.

I would guess that most of my customers will not have pictures to save in the inventory records so I am wondering if it would actually take less space to make this path a memo rather than a 100 or so character field?

Are there any problems with using memos to store the paths of these images?
