I found a solution. On the command line type
NET STOP IISADMIN
Recompile the COM, then:
NET START IISADMIN.

>It keeps it around, what you could do is something like KILL INETINFO if you have teh NT Resource kit or RUN IISRESET if you have Windows 2000. Otherwise, try MTS or COM+ to hold your components, other than that, you will probably need to restart the machine.
