Well, one example is anytime you need a light weight non-visible object. Also, its great for COM and DCOM especially, since the low number of default PEMs makes them easier to hide (You don't want VFP properties showing on your COM servers). Otherwise, you can use them for their orginal purpose, create a new data session whenever you need one.
