Ed is one of the kindest, friendliest people you could ever meet. Yes, his posts sometimes drip with sarcasm but that's just his style on-line. If you had ever spent time with him in person, you would read between the lines on what he posted.

If you were lucky enough to be considered one of his friends, as I am, you would know that this is a guy who will do anything to help out a buddy. I am honored to be one of his friends and his business partner.

Sometimes people post untested code but that code generally points in the right direction. I think everyone here has posted code at one time or another that had flaws in it. But it does give the questioner a push in the right direction and no one should be cutting and pasting code from here expecting it to be perfect.
