In the DOS days, if we had a file we wanted to send to the printer, we low-level opened it and sent it chunk by chunk to the printer using the ??? command (we had a function called print_it that you passed a filename and it sent it to the printer). This doesn't appear to work under VFP (5.0a). I get "Error accessing printer spooler".
What's the "proper" way to send data to the printer in the Windows world with VFP? Is there an API call to do it? Does VFP have a "printer" object you can play with?
Thanks in advance for any replies! :)
