Hi,

A couple of days ago I started a new thread in the C++ section of UT and as soon as I posted it, I went to look at it (to see if it was posted right and if everything was fine) and I noticed that my message was the only one in that particular forum.

I then proceeded to try to find a more "popular" C++ forum on the net and I found some sites that, quite frankly, weren't as well-built and as "interactive" as UT is. There is but one site that seemed decent enough to give it a try (http://www.tek-tips.com/) but it's presentation and the number of users that are actually participating are merely comparable with UT.

Then, I asked myself why? Why aren't all those people here, discussing on UT's C++ (and other) Forum? Why is it considered a VFP Forum?

And don't tell me that the VB and Windows Forums are popular because you'll have to agree that the questions that are asked in those (and other) forums almost always have something to do with VFP.

Is it a VFP site by choice or should we need to spread the word? I personnaly think that we would benefit from the input of programmers even if they're not VFP programmers.

I'm thinking: "The more the better".

Stephane.
