I don't know. I think that most xbase extensions (not with all the environment control or oop features), has being just natural follow up about the basic workarea premise. And anyway, I believe that not much work on the xbase syntax could be expected. Seeing VFP7, the only things are standarization of some clauses like (..IN workarea), and even that has been partial.
