I was pretty active in those days and they were pretty different. There were a lot of other xbase options. Dbase, Clipper, Quicksilver and DBXL (that for a time gave the others a run for their money. Anyone remember their attempted Arago?) There were some good user groups and a couple of BBS but they were based around Xbase and not so much around one product. So you are pretty much on target with your memory! < s >
