What do mena by "saving the VFP environment"? Is this the setting of the SET's before you do change it around? Have you tried a private data session?
>I have an idea and I'm wondering how practical it is. I've been trying to save the VFP environment, change it around completely, and then restore it. I took advantage of a form's datasession, and that helped some, but there are still glitches.

>What I was considering doing is calling a whole new copy of VFP up from within my app and setting up the environment there. That way, it should not interfere with the current app's environment. I can muck around with the second copy to do everything I need, and then just close it when I'm done.
