From what I read on most salary surveys / mags. certification helps the independent contractor, but I don't know if having several, seemingly unrelated certs does any good. Several times I have wondered on that question when reading MCP magazine. Some of the authors there have these three certs, plus others from Cisco, Novell, etc. Since you are MS certified you can access their web site at www.mcpmag.com.

That's just my impression, maybe somebody on the consulting business here can make a reference on how the guy that had the most certs got the job.
