I've noticed the framework requires a stored procedure Sp_NewID, after reading past threads on this, I'm trying to decide which way to go. Create my own Sp_NewID stored procedure, or use identity fields.

If I create my own Sp_NewId, has anyone else done this who wouldn't mind sharing?
I would imagine the code would be the same for anyones application.

If I use identity fields, how do I turn off the frameworks call to this stored procedure? Do I just overwrite the OnNew() business object method completely for all business objects whose initial selected alias is a remote view?
