They are great, and I have built on them when I have been inside VFP only. But for this distributed, super-tiered system that I am a part of, the security object tier is seperate from the data-access tier. When data and security are in the same object, then VFP gets it all. But when it's seperate, ADSI (and any other security provider or service like BizTalk that we have to address) will be done through VB/Script.

For the future, it would be great to see VFP<->BizTalk examples and lots of other .NET server platform integration examples with VFP.

Thanks!

>That may be true, but there are at least six ADSI examples in the MSFT KB that are written in VFP. In addition, I believe they cover just about ever aspect of ADSI that VB Script would be able to get to (IOW, all of the IDispatch stuff). Take a look at the ADSI browser sample, it's an extraordinary piece of work (*cough*).

>>1. 99% of the ADSI examples from MS (and their WROX cronies etc) are in VB/script.
