I ended up writing my own calendar (actually a date-picker) using VFP objects. It works very well and was so easy I am surprised I did not do it years ago rather than being aggravated by the ActiveX datepicker for so long.

You are correct that the OLE calendar that ships with VFP works most of the time. I just happened to stumble on an application in which it did not work.

>Im no active x guru...but anyway, I use the ActiveX calander that came with FoxPro. Its avaiable via, the component gallery, under foundation classes>date/time. If you havent already checked it out, i suggest you do. Its pretty limited in its capiability but its free and works smoothy and fast.
