I don't know what variable could store a Word document. I haven't done this sort of thing in months, but I recall going 'round and 'round trying to get it to work satisfactorily and the General field solution was the only way it worked for me.

>Is there no way just to open in the control without binding? if I do use the bound control, can I bind to some sort of variable rather than having to have a general field?
