I have my hands ready ;-)

Here is what I did:
-Deleted 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\Microsoft SQL Server' directories for the two failed installs.
-Deleted MSSQLServer registry keys
-Reinstall MSSQLServer

It works now, I can 'talk' to it from VFP.
It looks like I'll have to do some reading on the MSSQL syntax and data types...

One thing - In Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs I still have the entries for the two faile installs - do you know how do I get rid of them?
