I have an application under the MEI framework that opens and displays a form automatically on startup. This form has a grid, a timer and 3 command buttons. The timer refreshes the grid cursor with new data, so users can constantly see updates to a daily schedule. The focus on this form is normally in the grid. My problem happens when I try to close the app from the menu without closing this form. My application object tries to close the form and appears to be successful, but the object doesn't seem to be released. In the development environment, when I quit the app, I want to be back at the Fox command window. The C5 error does not show up until I try to save something or try to restart the app. This is a real pain when I make library changes and then get blown out of Fox. I think the problem stems from having the focus in the grid, but I have tried changing the focus in the close method of the form, and this does not seem to help. Any ideas? Is there a way to find out which object is not getting destroyed properly?
