thank you for the advice. Unfortunately your code won't reveal the eMail addresses either. I thought it would be a good idea to create a reply, but found out that the Address property of the Recipients collection will contain the SenderName instead of the eMail address. Tested at the Inbox of my machine I still have 34 out of 116 mail items without eMail address.

As you mentioned, I'll have a look at Nigels MAPI control.
